C/Supt/Mr. Mike Baah BSc. MA, MPA

Chief Superintendent Mike Baah is a highly accomplished Senior Police Officer in the Ghana Police Service. He has since 2017 been the Commander for the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit.

Through his leadership of the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department, the country has recorded the highest number of convictions with cases related to Human Trafficking which contributed to the movement of Ghana from Tier Two Watch-List to Tier Two on the global annual trafficking-in-persons ranking in 2018, and has continued to maintain that position to date.

He has planned, supervised and taken part in numerous rescue operations of trafficked victims along with stakeholders such as the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the International Justice Mission – Ghana, INTERPOL, the Department of Social Welfare and other local NGOs for trafficked victims

He has years of experience serving on United Nations Missions abroad in different countries where he has led and performed varied command, administrative, operational and related duties. C/Supt Baah has attended and presented in several international and local seminars/conferences.

He continually collaborates with various stake-holders to bring awareness and find lasting solutions to matters of security, human trafficking, domestic violence, law enforcement, community policing, training and development, and other related issues.
