Course Description

The purpose of this course is to introduce principles of law and ethics in medical, pharmaceutical and healthcare practices with a focus on those laws and ethical situations that are most commonly encountered in a typical practice setting. The course will examine the state laws that impact the practice of health practices, while emphasizing the legal and ethical principles applied by health professionals in their daily decision-making.

2. Acquire an understanding of the laws, regulations, and the ethical responsibilities applicable to the profession.
